Terms of Service
v2026-06-04
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Solvend, a team-matching platform operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("Solvend", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using Solvend, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms are provided in both Greek and English. The English version is offered for your convenience; for users in the Greek market, the Greek-language version prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
These Terms were last updated on 2026-06-04.
The service
Solvend lets you post projects, browse projects and people, apply to join teams, and message other members to collaborate.
We offer a free tier with core functionality and a paid tier, Solvend Pro, which unlocks additional features such as advanced matching and the ability to send invitations. The specific features of each tier are described on our pricing and product pages and may evolve over time.
We may add, change, or discontinue features. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect you.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Solvend. If the law of your country sets a higher age of digital consent, that higher age applies.
To purchase a Solvend Pro subscription or otherwise enter into a paid contract, you must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
By using Solvend you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide about yourself is accurate.
Your account and responsibilities
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. If you sign in with Google, you remain responsible for that connected account.
You agree to provide accurate account and profile information and to keep it up to date.
Please notify us promptly at info@socait.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Solvend lawfully and respectfully. In particular, you must not:
post unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, harassing, hateful, or infringing content;
misrepresent your identity, skills, or affiliation, or post projects you have no genuine intention to pursue;
spam or send unsolicited solicitations through messaging, or harvest other members' data;
attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorised access to the platform or its systems.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that create risk for other members or for Solvend.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create on Solvend, such as your profile, projects, applications and messages.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display and process your content as necessary to operate and provide the service to you and to the members you choose to interact with.
You are responsible for the content you post and for ensuring you have the rights to share it.
Solvend Pro subscription and billing
Solvend Pro is a paid subscription billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose) through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout.
New subscriptions may include a 14-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and the applicable fee is charged automatically.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel beforehand.
You can cancel at any time from the in-app Billing Portal. When you cancel, your Solvend Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it is not renewed thereafter.
Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable and we do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods, including where you cancel mid-period or stop using the service.
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend or downgrade Pro features until payment succeeds. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Solvend connects people who wish to collaborate, but we do not employ members, do not vet them beyond what is described in the service, and are not a party to any agreement, team, or engagement that members form with one another. You are responsible for your own decisions about whom you work with.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solvend and its operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, opportunities or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY OF INCORPORATION], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you enjoy under the law of your country of residence in the EU.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "last updated" date (currently 2026-06-04) and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of Solvend after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
